it's been a while. so not much has been happening up here in canada... i think we're into a routine now but i miss the routine in alabama. :( so ya it's been good. I'm really loving youth!!! we're having a youth retreat this weekend and can not wait for it!!!! and tonight i'm going to Surrey Youth Chruch and am CRAZY EXCITED!!! so ya oh and........... that's it really. oh ya i have really cool friends and if you think yours are better you're wrong. lol

So.......

So it's been a while eh. So here's an update. My life feels like it's been going full speed. Thank goodness for the weekend. So today's Friday and I am super tired. My Dad had eye surgery this week and Kaitlyn's been sick with an infection for a week. I'm just really tired and it's nice to be able to relax. I really need to go now so ya.

ok so i guess things are going good. Schools ok and all. I have good teachers. Ya. I wish I had more classes with some more of my friends. But other than that it's all good. Moving on...... I really am enjoying being home and all...... But I still really miss Alabama. *sigh* But I am excited because I may get the chance to go back next year!!!! Like I said it's good to be home, but it's hard being away from Alabama.

First week and Redneck Weekend

The official 1st week of school is over. Even though it's only the 1st week, I was very thankful for the weekend. I actually love High School. My favorite class is Science. Only because my teacher is the coolest!!!!!! So this weekend was "Brigade Days." The red neckest thing you will find in B.C. Especially today. The Demo Derby. A bunch of people in totally sweet cars crashing into other totally awesome cars. It's funny how we find this amusing. We all freak out about a car accident, yet we laugh at a fire in a car, and major hits. No offense. I love it too. I was just thinking about it.
Well I gotta get to bed. Tommorow is another school day.

First day of High School [Kinda]

Well today was a half day. No it was really a quarter day. But that's beside the point. Anyhow i like my home room. it's pretty nifty. I have my locker combo memorized. Unfortunately i feel like i'm looking for a room in a building of 1000000000000 rooms. I hope i'll get used to it really soon. Well I promise I'll update tommorow after the real full first day.

Ok. Not Much going on. Yesterday I went to this high school orientation thingy. It was pretty good. It was just to give us a tour and our timetables and famaliarize ourselves with the school. We must become one! jk. But ya. I start on tues. I'm at a point where I don't really want summer to end but i'm ready to start school. If that makes any sense whatsoever!

O.K. Updates

So Camp was really sweet! I had the coolest counselor and an amazing co-counselor. I loved every minute of it! I really wish I could live their with my cabin. [Fudge]
So The BIG AMAZING THING finally happened. And this is where you will hear it. Right now. This very second. Ok Here we go...... Yesterday was my friends b-day. So we went down to the washington fair thingy in lynden. So it was really cool. AND THEN the most amazing thing happened. We went to go see Third Day in concert!!!!!!! It was so cool! I totally love them. So there you go. The BIG HUGE AMAZING THING has finally been said
and done.

Ya this week is a little laid backish. Two of my sisters are @ Camp Squeah, so it's only me and Bethy! Ya so other than that there's really nothing to talk about. So about Camp I love having all the staff come to church. I'm gonna go in August. It'll be cool.

Bye Bye 'Bama

So a week from Thursday we left Sweet Home Alabama. It was so not fun to leave! Here's how my last day in Alabama went.
I woke up at 7:30 to get ready to go to camp! I miss camp A LOT!!!! i miss all the kids the fun the staff.... EVERYTHING!!! anyway I was on the Pink team! After a fun-filled day of Camp I worked Late Show! Which was really cool because I got to say good-bye to all my little friends. After that I stayed for Youth Group! Which was Awesome!!! That's what I miss the most. It was all going normal 'till Jawoo got up and asked me to come up to. He handed me a Camp bag that alln my friends had signed, a box of Whatchamacallit's and a framed pic of us in Atlanta! Then they actually had a cake that said "We'll miss you Becca." It was so stupendously amazing! Oh and my bff Heather made me some cookies [which were really good even though she forgot the flour!] and a bag of grits. If anyone in Alabama is reading this I LOVE grits and tell Heather Thanks!
Anyway it was really hard to go! I miss them alot

A Recap on These weeks!

OMW!! These past few weeks have been jam packed with everything possible! I'm volunteering at a camp at Church from Mon. to Fri. 9 to 4:30. And as if that wasn't busy enough last weekend I went to Atlanta with my Youth Group. It was a blast!!!
We left on Fri. after camp and went to Arbor Place Mall. Talk about HIGH security!!!!
When we walked in to the mall this security guard came and asked us if we had a guardian. Apparently people under 18 on Friday to Sunday after 6:00 can't come into the mall without a guardian. So then Jonathon came and the dude asked him his name and Phone Number! Needless to say we all stuck together after that incident. This weekend was full of firsts! And the craziest one was watching a 13 yr. old boy and a 50 yr. old woman run up a 1.3 mile mountain in HIGH HEELS! It was the funniest craziest thing I've ever watched! It was Super awesome! Then we watched a laser show on the mountain. It was cool! Then off to bed and the next day we left. Ya it was cool! Remeber when I mentioned camp?? You have gotta check out their website! It is so much fun! I LOVE working here!

North Carolina

Here we are. Boy, has it been a haul of a trip! We left friday and headed to Uncle Gregs. But little did we know that a drive that was supposed to take 4 hours took....7!!! We were stuck in traffic in Chattanogga. We drove 2 miles in 1 hr and 40 mins. Needless to say it was bad. Not only that but my Dad's computer battery died so we just sat there complaining about the heat, boredom and anything else we could think of! Saturday we met up with Joel [oldest cousin] in Ashville. He brought his girlfriend Katie with him and we all loved her! She was so much fun! We went to wendys then decided to go to a park. It was a wickedly cool park! A few mins. before we had to leave Joel brought out a stack of cards, ready to impress his cousins. [It isn't too hard to impress us anyway but it was awesome!] Then we drove a half hour to Mr.Matts house. [My dads friend from college.] It was a blast! They have 2 boys and they were so cute! Graham who's 2 and Ben who's i think 8 months! They were adorable!!!!!!!!! We had pizza and hung out there 'till around 7. Finally we reached Mamaw and Papaw's house. It felt so good to be using my legs again! Were gonna stay here 'till Weds. morning so that I can get back for Youth Group. Oh and I forgot to mention that @ church they're having a day camp and i'm volunteering. So I'm gonna go on thursday morning! I am so excited. Don't know what I'm doing but hey, it's better then doing nothing!
Well I guess this post makes up for the lack of blogging lately.

Well..........

I am finally finished 7th grade!!!!!! Next Stop High School. I can not wait to get home and go swim in our pool!!!!!!!!!!! It is really hot here. Oh well. So as I was saying i am an offical graduate of 7th grade! I had one exam yesterday {math *gag*] and it was pretty easy. After that I went shopping with mom. We found the best deal you will ever hear of in your life...... a pair of pink etnies for......... $2.98. I just went to the website and brand new ones cost $98.00. I'll post some pics later.

Halleujah!!!

After the longest week of my life the weekend finally has arrived. ugh I am so exaushated..... I have a bug projest due on Mon. *gulp* haven't even started it. Only 10 days left of school!!!! I can not wait!

So school is almost out! Halleujah!!! But with that also comes exams! AH! The only one I think i'm gonna have to take is math. *yuck* So ya. I can't wait for skool to be out. Tomorrow I go on a feild trip to the zoo! I can not wait! Skipping a whole day of school to go to the zoo! I mean who wouldn't be excited??? So ya. My life as it is in Alabama is school and home. Church on Sunday. Youth Group on Wednesday.... Which I have to say is the best part of my week! and we go to the library at least once a week! It is the biggest library i've ever laid eyes on! Their teen section is as big as our library all together!!! Ya. It's big.
Let's hope that the rest of the school year flies bye!

Yesterday at Chick Fil-A some people in my youth group asked if I had heard of Canadian Idiot. I said no. They were all like "Oh my word you have to hear it. So I googled it and this is what it came up like. It's the weird Al version of American Idiot by Green Day. It's hillarious!!!!

It's been a LONG week!

Finally the weekend! It's been like forever since i had a break! I am so tired i am shocked I can sit up! It's 8:24 on a Friday Night and I am ready to go to bed! School is just like always. Not fun at all! They're really strict there. Except for Maddie's teacher. She has a hamster and we got to bring him home for the weekend. It makes me miss Pip alot! Oh well. We've offically been gone for a month. Time For Bed [Halleujah!]

The best school day in a while! [even though It's only been 2 weeks!]

Well today was a very good day! First we woke up to bluer than blue skies! Than we head off to school. My teachers were really nice today. Except for the old old old man Coach Pepper! He was his usual self but oh well. So all my teachers were good and I have the least amount of homework that I've ever had! Oh but my one downer was that Maddie was supposed to bring her class hamster home on Friday for Spring Break. But because we're going to my Uncle Kenny's on Friday we couldn't keep him the whole time. So we were gonna find someone to take him for the last few days but Maddies teacher decided to keep him at her house. So I'm a wee bit dissapointed. Wait that's an understatement. I am very very very dissapointed. Let's face the facts......
I MISS PIP! I miss the way he would run up my arm! Oh and Caris had better take care of hime because if she dosen't.... Rosie could be paying for it! WHAHAHA! just kidding! Oh well that's my best school day ever. For now! WHAHAHAHAHA

Easter Eggs and New Shoes

A quick run down of our day yesterday

So yesterday we went to a Church Easter Egg Hunt. We all had fun. It was a huge church! Afterwards they served refreshments and you should have seen Bethany's plate. It was really funny because not only did she eat her full plate she went back for seconds!





After that we went to an outlet mall to look around. All my sisters got new sweaters and I got some killer new shoes! They are totally rocking!





Then we came home for a peaceful dinner and egg dying. Some of our creations turned out quite well. While others we're different. Kaitlyn actually decided to try to create the worlds ugliest egg! Did she succeed? You be the judge.

Sweet Home Alabama.

Finally after seeming like an eternity were in Alabama. We started school on Tuesday and things are going along just fine. It's definetly different. In a class of 19 kids I am the only white person! It's definetly a big change. So We all love our house and our very excited about having some time as a family!

On the road again I can't wait to get on the road again.

Ya right! I am sosososososo sick and tired of driving! Seriously we have driven 28 hours straight. Except for the ocassional pee break.[Thank goodness!!!] So today we're in South Dakota. So we went to go see Mt. Rushmore. It was pretty cool. It's sorta scary that they look so real it's like they're there staring at you!
Oh well. So far we've been through 5 states. Which also mean 2 time changes! It's super confusing. Oh well gotta get used to it sometime.
Ok I am so pooped!!! I'll be in the road again tommorow at 9:00. So the agenda for tommorow is we drive for a hour or so then we arrive at a place called Walldrug. No idea what the heck it is. Guess I'll have to find out. Then we drive some more to the Corn Palace. Then we drive some more 'till we get to our Hotel in Minnesotta.

My List Of Lasts This Last Week

So as you may know my family is headed down south for a sabbatical. So I decided to make a list of all that I had to say bye to and all the last things I did for the last time this week. So here we go!

1. I finished Middle school, because in Alabama I am considered a High Schooler.

2. The last time that I saw one of my friends. Because she is moving while I'm gone.

3. Actually that happens one moer to another one of my friends too.

4. The last sleepover with me and my 2 bff's of middle school.

I'm too tired to write any more. All together in the last 2 days I have slept 13 hours. So I am very tired. I will add on to this list.
